Kerry was a four time NBC scholar-athlete for the Leopard softball team. She was first team NBC as a shortstop and also a first team All Northeast Inland selection. She also earned a softball scholarship to Kent State where she holds numerous Top 10 list records.
Paul Lieber Class of 1983
Paul is the only Louisville boys' tennis player to qualify for the state tournament, doing so in 1982. He is the all-time win leader for the Leopards and earned a tennis scholarship to Youngstown State University.
Ron Pierce Class of 1971
Ron earned eight varsity letters in football, basketball and baseball. He threw two no-hitters during his high school career and was named All-Ohio his senior season. Ron also pitched for Mount Union College, where he led the nation in strikeouts in 1972.
Wayne Ashbaugh Class of 1931
Wayne played football, basketball and baseball for the Blue Raiders. He also played football for Mount Union and returned to Louisville as a teacher and head coach of the football team at the age of 24. His record was 58-25, with one Tri-County League championship. Wayne also coached the basketball team to a Tri-County Championship.
Daryl Murphy Class of 1955
Daryl earned eleven varsity letters in football, basketball and baseball. In basketball, he led the county in scoring his junior and senior seasons and once scored a then school record 44 points in a game. He is third on Louisville's all-time scoring list.
Gaylord "Hap" Lillick
"Hap" was the head football coach at Louisville for five years (1960-64). He is credited to bringing the football program back to a prominent place in the county. Lillick's 35-14 record included three Tri-County League Championships.
Jim Menegay Class of 1956
Jim has been a contributor to the Louisville baseball program, serving as a coach in the Louisville amateur programs for 53 years. He is also a member of the Stark County Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame.
