Bob Boldon Class of 1993 Bob won three letters in basketball and two in baseball. He was a two time NBC all-star in basketball, as well as a first team all-star for District 4, Stark County, and Northeast Ohio. Bolden was named Player of the Year in 1993 for the NBC and District 4. He was also named a NAIA All-American at Walsh University.
Paul "Butch" Metzger Class of 1948
Paul won four letters in basketball and baseball and three in football. He was a two time Tri-County League All-Star in football and basketball, and was selected to the Repository All-County Football Team. Metzger played many years in the Class A Baseball League and signed a professional contract with the Cleveland Indians.
Edward "Hobie" Baker Class of 1973
"Hobie" earned three letters in football, two in track and one in baseball. He still holds career records at Louisville in football for rushing average per carry (8.5), average kick off return (30.9), kick off returns for touchdowns (2), and punt returns for touchdowns (4). Baker also holds five other season records in football.
Joe Callan Class of 1975
Joe was awarded varsity letters in football (2), basketball (2), track (2), and baseball (1).In 1974, he was selected as a football first team all-star for the Federal League, Stark County, Northeast Ohio and All-Ohio. He played in the 1975 North-South All-Star Game and was selected to the Federal League Team of the Decade in 1979. Callan also earned four letters at Ohio University in football.
Kelli Metzger Class of 1995
Kelli was the first Division 1 scholarship winner from the Louisville Softball program. She was a four-year starter for the Leopards. She was the Akron University MVP in 1998 and 1999 and team captain in 1999. Metzger was selected first team Mid-American Conference all four years.
Ginger Kroft Barnetson Class of 1991
Ginger was selected as a High School All-American swimmer in the 50-yard freestyle. She was the 1991 Female Swimmer of the Year, elected by the Greater Canton Aquatic Association. Barnetson was also a three time State qualifier and two time district champion in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle.
Dale Minor Class of 1964
Dale was a Tri-County All Star in football, basketball, and track, and played on the 1962 and 1963 Tri-County Football League championship teams. He set county records in the high and low hurdles in track, and was a four year letterman for the University of Southwestern Oklahoma football team.
